Objective: To assess the quality of domestic randomized controlled trials (RCTs) on acupuncture for treating Angina Pectoris. Methods :Computers searched China knowledge network,Weipu, Wanfang, and China Biomedical Literature Database to collect randomized controlled trials of acupuncture treatment for angina pectoris at home. Apply CONSORT 2010 and STRICTA to assess the reporting quality of included literatures. Result :A total of 24 RCTs were included. There was no document were comformed to the CONSORT statement and the STRICTA standard .In addition, the reporting rate of each item was uneven.Among them, eligibility criteria for participants, acupuncture details and outcome indicators were relatively high, while there were insufficient reports on trial design, sample size estimation, blinding, harms, trial registration and protocol, setting of treatment and practitioner background. Conclusion :The reporting quality of acupuncture for Angina Pectoris was generally low at present. It is recommended that researchers must enhance the systematic learning of clinical trial methodology and the clinical trials should be strictly reported according to CONSORT statement and STRICTA to improve the reporting quality of literatures.
