Abstract: Objective: To analyze the clinical application and explore the potential efficacy of Danshen and its related factors for providing reference to expand clinical application and develop innovative drugs through mining and knowledge discovery of the Associated network of composition information of Danshen prescription in the past dynasties. Methods: The prescriptions containing Danshen in the literature were screened. the methods of frequency distribution, association rule mining based on the Aprio algorithm and network construction were adopted to analyze the clinical application of Danshen, including the distribution of dynasties, dosage forms, the number of prescriptions, compatibility efficacy and compatibility application with other drugs. Results:1007 prescriptions containing Danshen were screened and found that Danshen was widely used in the Song Dynasty, the Qing Dynasty and modern times.
